OMG!! My mouth is watering, yet I am a little disgusted… Would you ever try this new food trend: the PouTail?!
A small Ottawa bakery has created what should be Canada’s newest national treat — by putting together our two favorites: the poutine and the beavertails… The fries are crafted from the fried pastry, covered by a mushroom gravy and real Quebec cheese curds — it’s then encased in a giant BeaverTails pastry!!!
And like any good Beavertails, there are toppings: everything from maple syrup to peameal bacon to ketchup chips to Saskatoon berries.
Problem right now is that the creator, Tom Horthans, has yet to license the rights… he thinks that he will get all the Okays to have this available as of May…
Horthans says that no Canadian will be able to resist… will you?!
