August is Geek History Month!

Here’s something that makes August a bit more interesting! We all know there’s Black History Month & Women’s History Month, so now Asylum.com (a great/funny website) has dubbed August “Geek History Month”!!!

 

Why August? For starters, August 6 was the day the first Web page was launched. Also, on August 18th, AOL will present its first Annual Geek Awards in Los Angeles, featuring celebrities who “aren’t afraid to embrace their more technical side.” hahaha I can’t wait to see who will show up! Some of the funniest actors are total geeks–that’s what makes them funny!

 

I love geeks!!

 

So I guess it’s time to embrace that inner geekiness this month!!
