More than two thousand British students painted themselves blue and slipped into white costumes to top the Guinness World Record for the largest number of people dressed up as smurfs.
The previous record of 1253 people was set last year in Ireland. This time around, 2510 people were willing to dress up and smurf it up!
Strict controls were in place to check that every “smurf” was COMPLETELY blue!!! “If patches of skin were showing the smurf didn’t count,” organizer said, adding that the number would have been higher but some people were allergic to the blue face paint.
Looks like fun, to be honest! Maybe we should try to smash the record 😉
