Lilith Fair Returns!!

In 1996, Sarah McLachlan became frustrated with concert promoters that refused to feature two female musicians in a row, as an opening act and main concert. With the help of Nettwerk’s CEO Terry McBride & Dan Fraser, Sarah created an all-female tour to be named Lilith Fair!! Between 1997 & 1999, Lilith Fair raised over $10M for women’s charities throughout North America & helped pave the way for female musicians the world over. In 1999, Sarah McLauchlan chose to concentrate on her family & the tour went on hiatus…

Well, yesterday, Terry McBride tweeted “Lilith Fair 2010 here we come!!”

I’m sooooooooooo EXCITED!!!! I went to 2 out of the 3 and saw the likes of Paula Cole, Emm Gryner, Natalie Merchant, Emmylou Harris, Dixie Chicks, Deborah Cox, Chantal Kreviazuk, Sheryl Crow…. It was BY FAR my best concert experiences!!
