Maybe we should make sure celebrities know how to golf before asking them to play in charity events!!!
Actor Bill Murray hooked a tee shot so badly during a Pro-Am event that his ball sailed across a street next to the hole and hit a woman in her front yard!!! Gail DiMaggio was knocked to the ground.
While the paramedics were attending to her, Murray’s foursome continued playing & his caddy took him in a cart to the woman’s yard. He comfirmed to reporters that she had to go to the hospital & joked that DiMaggio wasn’t the first spectator he’s hit (we hope he was joking)!!!!!
Maybe Bill needs a lesson or two!! FOOOOOOOOOOORRRRE!!!
** UPDATE: 1 day after she was hit on the head by Bill Murray’s wayward tee shot, Miss DiMaggio has a request: a signed copy of his movie “Caddyshack”. She was back home watching the 2nd round of the event, when Bill Murray went over to check on her! She was actually almost conked again — this time by former Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Derrick Brooks! Maybe she is not meant to live on a golf course!
