WOW!

The iPhone and iPod touch gives a new meaning to the word “finger painting.” I never even considered fiddling with paint-type applications on my iPhone because I felt I’d be limited in what I could actually do on such a small screen… Well, NY artist Jorge Colombo just proved me wrong!!

Jorge Colombo used the $5 Brushes application to create masterpieces on his iPhone. “It all started when I realized I could draw while night-riding in a car. Soon I found myself sketching NY spots that are part of my life” Colombo writes on the art site, “I’ve lived in the USA for 20 years and I’m still looking at its urban landscape as if I was discovering it for the first time” he adds.

While waiting in line at Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum, Jorge Colombo “brushed” a piece of art that actually made the cover of this week’s New Yorker magazine!! This video shows how he did it!

All I can say is WOW!!!!

Have you painted a masterpiece on your iPhone/iPod Touch?! Share it with me, I’ll post them!
