yep–I’m on vacay, but as I was relaxing, reading the newspaper, I fell upon the funniest ”OMG are you serious” story!
Can you believe that about 200 prisoners will be cycling around France next month in their very own version of the Tour de France!!! The only difference with this first edition of the ”Penal Tour de France” is that the inmates will cycle in a pack, watched by 124 guards, and breakaway sprints will not be allowed.
Unlike this photo, no man in strippes will win the race — there will be no ranks to foster values like teamwork and effort!!!
My question is why isn’t there more guards than prisoners?! Aren’t they just setting themselves up to losing someone, somehow!?! What do you think?
