A Korean man named Lee Jin-Gyu fell in love with a life-size Japanese body pillow that has the image of a cartoon character on it. So much so that he did not only buy it, but marry it!
He goes everywhere with it — even the movies and pays for 2 tickets!
Apparently, there is a subculture in Japan of men engaging in romantic relationships with pillows that have cartoon on them!!! Check out THIS ARTICLE in the New York Times about it!
