Yesterday, I’ve accomplished the scariest thing I’ve ever had to do! I rappelled off the 18th floor of a hotel for charity!
I knew what i was getting into. Having worked with children with disabilities, I knew about Easter Seals and how they helped those families in need. So, I definitely wanted to be a Super Hero for the day and do this. Raising 1540$ was the easy part… going over the ledge was the scariest thing ever!!
Lucky me, I will always remember that I was about to cry leaning over that building as the Ottawa Citizen caught it all on tape! I had NO CLUE!!
Our own video will be up soon, with content from the camera I taped to my helmet — now that will be priceless!
